FAQ
Questions parents and students actually ask.
Where do sessions happen?
We can meet at the St. Paul Brantford Public Library Branch, your house, or even online (Google Meets). We confirm the exact meeting spot when we confirm your booking.
How does payment work?
Cash, at the session. No deposit, nothing charged online, no card needed. Your first session is half price.
What if I need to cancel?
Give us 24 hours notice and it is free. Inside 24 hours, or a no-show, we ask for half the session rate.
Do you tutor groups?
Yes. Two or three friends can book one tutor together at the small group rate. For anything bigger, ask us first.
Which grades do you teach?
Mostly grades 8 to 12. Coding and chess are open to younger students too. If you are unsure, just ask.
Do parents need to stay?
That is up to you and your parents. Many students work fine on their own. Parents are always welcome to stay or to check in at the end.
I am totally lost in class. Can you still help?
That is our specialty. We find the exact point where things stopped making sense and rebuild from there. Being behind is a starting point, not a problem.
Test prep or homework help?
Both. Bring homework you are stuck on, or bring a test date and we will build a review plan around it.
How fast do you confirm bookings?
Within a day, usually much faster. You will get a text or email confirming the time and place.
Can I get the same tutor every week?
Yes, and we encourage it. Consistency is most of the battle. When you book, mention that you want a standing weekly slot.
What should I bring?
Your textbook or notes, a recent quiz or test if you have one, and the specific problem or topic. Each subject page has a "what to bring" note.
Still curious? Send us a message and we will answer within a day.
